OpenAI Acquires Digital Product Company – 'Global Illumination' 

OpenAI has recently acquired ‘Global Illumination,’ a digital product company working on open-source technology related to online games and other digital products.

According to OpenAI, Global Illumination is “a company that has been leveraging AI to build creative tools, infrastructure, and digital experiences.”

Logan Kilpatrick from OpenAI officially announced the “very cool news” on Twitter.

The company was also known for previously designing and building products for Facebook and Instagram. 

It was also reported that they have contributed to various notable companies such as Pixar, Riot Games, Google, YouTube and more.

Now, the entire team has joined OpenAI to work on improving their core products including ChatGPT.

“We are very excited for the impact they’ll have here at OpenAI,” OpenAI said in a release.

Recently, Logan Kilpatrick also liked a tweet about a user expressing his excitement on the news of OpenAI’s acquisition.

According to the twitter user, the company acquired by OpenAI is popularly known to be the creators behind an open-source MMORPG game called Biomes. 

We have yet to see how Global Illumination’s strengths and potential increase the growth and development of OpenAI’s products.
