Which AI Text Humanizer Actually Works? Undetectable AI or Humanizer.pro

Two humanizers, six tests, and one tool that kept rewriting words it had no business touching. We ran Undetectable AI and Humanizer.pro through ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude essays to find out which one actually holds up against a trusted AI detector

There's no shortage of tools promising to make AI text disappear. Paste your content, click humanize, and suddenly your ChatGPT draft reads like it came from a person. That's the pitch, anyway.

The truth is, technology for detecting things has been improving just as fast.

For a while now, Undetectable AI has been the top choice in its field, and its name is often used to mean the same thing as making AI seem more human.

On the other hand, Humanizer.pro hasn't been as loud about its presence, but it has still managed to build a big following of over 1.2 million users.

We put them to the test, running six different trials to see which one would actually follow through on its claim of bypassing restrictions in 2026.

What is Undetectable AI?

Undetectable AI launched in 2023 and quickly became the most recognizable name in the humanizer category. The core product does two things: detects AI-generated content and rewrites it to pass as human, both in the same interface, so you can verify your output without switching tabs.

The humanizer gives you control over readability level and purpose. Modes like General, Essay, Email, and Marketing tune the output to what you're actually producing.

Higher-tier plans include API access, bulk credits, and white-labeling options, which is what makes it genuinely useful for agencies running large content volumes. The built-in detector covers outputs from GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, and other major models.

Pricing scales with volume

  • Free trial: ~250 words
  • 10,000 words/month: $9.99/month or $5.00/month billed annually
  • 20,000 words/month: $19.00/month or $9.50/month billed annually
  • 35,000 words/month: $31.00/month or $15.75/month billed annually
  • 50,000+ words/month: Custom pricing available
  • Business/Bulk: Custom pricing, non-expiring credits, white labeling, and priority support

What is Humanizer.pro?

Where most humanizers do one thing, Humanizer.pro tries to do several. The core humanizer is paired with a built-in AI detector just like Undetectable.

The rewriting engine runs across three modes: Simple, Normal, and Advanced. Simple makes surface-level changes that won't move a stubborn detection score much.

Advanced restructures more deeply and is where the tool does its most meaningful work. Support for over 50 languages is a genuine differentiator here, particularly for non-English writers who find most humanizers built almost exclusively around English-language patterns.

Pricing is straightforward:

  • Free: 300 words/month, 300 words per request, bypasses basic detectors only (GPTZero, ZeroGPT, Copyleaks)
  • Unlimited (annual): $9.99/month, unlimited words/month, unlimited words per request, bypasses advanced detectors including Originality.ai 3.0 and Turnitin, passes plagiarism checks, priority support
  • Unlimited (monthly): $29.99/month, same features as annual tier
  • Annual plans: Save 67% compared to monthly billing

A Quick Note on Privacy

Both tools process submitted text through their servers, so avoid uploading anything sensitive, confidential, or proprietary.

Both tools have a clear data handling position: no content is stored, no submissions feed model training, and all connections are encrypted.

The Test Setup

Six tests total. One AI-generated essay from each of the three major models: ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

Each essay was humanized by both Undetectable AI and Humanizer.pro separately, then run through TruthScan to get an AI likelihood score.

How Each AI Text Humanizer Performed

Test 1: ChatGPT Humanized by Undetectable AI

Verdict:  Flagged the text as AI-Generated AI Likelihood Score: 88%

Test 2: ChatGPT Humanized by Humanizer.pro

Verdict: Flagged the text as partially AI-Generated AI Likelihood Score: 50%

Test 3: Gemini Humanized by Undetectable AI

Verdict: Flagged the text as AI-Generated AI Likelihood Score: 99%

Test 4: Gemini Humanized by Humanizer.pro

Verdict: Flagged the text as partially AI-Generated AI Likelihood Score: 45%

Test 5: Claude Humanized by Undetectable AI

Verdict:Flagged the text as partially AI-Generated AI Likelihood Score: 53%

Test 6: Claude Humanized by Humanizer.pro

Verdict: Passed the Text as Human Written AI Likelihood Score: 19%

My Final Thoughts

Humanizer.pro outperformed Undetectable AI in this test, and the margin was significant enough to be worth paying attention to.

Averaging 38% across three tests with the only clean pass of the entire comparison, it demonstrated more consistent structural rewriting than its more established competitor.

Undetectable AI averaged 80%. The Gemini result at 99% is difficult to contextualize generously, though the Claude essay at 53% suggests the tool isn't uniformly struggling across all source models.

But transparently there's also a caveat on Humanizer.pro's results that the scores alone don't show. The tool has a tendency to replace words and phrases with contextually wrong substitutions during the rewrite process.

In our testing, proper nouns and branded terms including โ€œHumanizer.proโ€ itself were among the casualties, with names getting swapped out for something that technically fits grammatically but makes no sense in context.

If you're running any content through Humanizer.pro, you should definitely give it a proofread. The bypass score might look good, but the output can introduce errors that would raise different flags entirely.

If the question is purely which tool produced better bypass numbers in this test, Humanizer.pro has the clearer answer. But winning on scores while scrambling your content in the process is only half a win.
