Which AI Humanizer Actually Beats Detection? Undetectable AI vs RewritePal
The real test of any AI humanizer is not the landing page, it is the detector score. We ran Undetectable AI and RewritePal through TruthScan six times to find out where each one actually stands.

The arms race between AI writers and AI detectors was always going to produce a third player.
Someone had to build the tool that sits in the middle. That rewrites the output, sands down the patterns, and hands it back looking like something a person typed on a Tuesday afternoon.
That's what AI humanizers do. And in 2026, there are more of them than anyone can reasonably keep track of.
Two names worth paying attention to are Undetectable AI and RewritePal.
The question isn't which one has the better landing page. It's which one actually holds up when you run the output through a serious detector.
We generated AI text from three different models, humanized all of it through both tools, and scored the results through TruthScan. Here's what happened.
What is Undetectable AI?
Undetectable AI is one of the most recognized names in the AI content space. It was built from the ground up as a dual-purpose platform, combining AI detection and AI humanization into a single workflow.

The interface is straightforward. You paste your text, choose a content purpose such as essay, article, or marketing material, and the tool returns a rewritten version.
It supports text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and other major models, with English as its primary focus and secondary multilingual support across dozens of languages.
Pricing is discounted as of now:
- 10,000 words/month: $5/month (billed annually at $60/year), originally $9.99/month
- 20,000 words/month: $9.50/month (billed annually at $114/year), originally $19/month
- 35,000 words/month: $15.75/month (billed annually at $189/year), originally $31/month
- 50,000+ words/month: Custom pricing, all features included
- For Business: Custom pricing, non-expiring credits, white labeling, redistribution, priority support, Smart Job Applier access
All paid plans include: passes AI detectors, high quality legible content, watermark and future proof, writing level matching, API compatibility, unlimited Human Auto Typer, and unlimited AI detecting.
What is RewritePal?
RewritePal is built by an independent developer and positioned as the no-cost, no-friction alternative to the paid humanizer market.

You paste your text, select a tone, role and hit humanize. No account required, and no word limit that forces you to chunk your content into pieces.
One thing worth noting upfront: RewritePal does not market itself as a detector bypass tool. Its humanizer is designed to make AI text sound more natural and human, not to specifically target and defeat detection systems. All honesty its the same thing
Pricing:
- Free Forever: $0, no subscription, no hidden fees, unlimited paraphrasing
- Anonymous users receive a limited daily request allowance
- Creating a free account raises the daily allowance
- Up to 10,000 characters per submission
A Quick Note on Privacy
Undetectable AI states that submitted content is protected with advanced encryption and that texts and personal information remain completely secure.
Their privacy commitment is listed explicitly as a product feature.
RewritePal goes a step further on paper, stating that no data is stored and that submitted text is not saved on their servers at all.
The Test Setup
This comparison is built around one question: which humanizer does a better job of making AI-generated text pass as human when run through a real detector?
To answer that, we generated six AI-written text samples across three models:
Two from ChatGPT
Two from Gemini
Two from Claude
Each sample text was from a long form blog, generated without any manual editing.
Each sample was then humanized using both Undetectable AI and RewritePal, with default settings used across the board to reflect what a typical user would actually do.
After humanization, every output was scored through TruthScan.

My Final Thoughts
For this comparison, we used the free tier of Undetectable AI, which runs on the basic humanization model, not the premium Undetectable model the tool is actually built around.
What we tested is the floor, not the ceiling.
With that context in mind, a 99% AI likelihood score across all six tests isn't a verdict on Undetectable AI as a product.
It's a verdict on what the free tier can do against TruthScan specifically, and TruthScan is not an easy detector to fool.
RewritePal went 1/6 and one that gave a partial AI verdict. That's not a number to celebrate, but its enough to give it the win in this head to head.Â
For a free writing assistant that never claimed to beat detectors, that performance is genuinely surprising.
If you're evaluating it seriously, the free tier for Undetectable is not the right version to judge it on.
What this test confirms though is that TruthScan has gotten genuinely harder to crack.
