Discord is a chat app with a following of millions of users. It's typically used by gamers to communicate with each other while they're playing games, but it can be used for all sorts of purposes. For example, you could create a Discord server for your business and use it to communicate internally. You can easily use Breakdance to send your contact forms to a specific Discord channel which is useful if you have a team that needs to be notified when someone submits a form.
Set up your Breakdance Contact Form
In Breakdance, create a new page and add a form builder. Scroll down to Actions and select Discord as one of the actions after submission. Once you've done this, we'll leave it alone for a few until we set up the webhook.
Enable Discord Webhook Integration
Open Discord and navigate to the channel you want your message posted in. In the settings of your channel, go to integrations -> webhooks and create a new webhook. Create a new webhook and copy the URL that is generated.
Setup Breakdance Discord Integration
Now that we've copied our webhook link, go back to the Breakdance Discord action and change the webhook from default to custom. Paste the webhook URL here. Feel free to customize your fields and options but make sure to check the 'include form data' and 'include timestamp' settings. Once you've saved this, you should be ready to go.
Test Channel Message in Discord
Save your Breakdance page and navigate to it live. Fill out a test form and press submit and within seconds you should see your message in your specified Discord channel.
Discord is a great way to keep your team organized and in the loop. By using Breakdance to send your contact forms to Discord, you can easily keep everyone on the same page regarding your lead intake. Additionally, you can customize your form fields and options to ensure that all of the pertinent information is being sent along with each message. Give it a try and help streamline your process.
