Breakdance makes it super easy to create a blog page template. With just a few clicks, you can have a blog up and running in no time.
Why Are Blogs Important
Blogs are an integral part of a digital marketing SEO strategy. Search engines love fresh, unique content, and a blog provides you with a platform to share this content with the world.

Setting up a Blog Archives in Breakdance
First off, create a new blank page and call it 'Blog'. You're not going to be adding content to this page, so it just needs a title and nothing anything else.
Using the Default Breakdance Blog Archive
Breakdance has a default blog index template right out of the box. All you have to do is set the page you want it displayed on. The page showcasing all your posts is commonly referred to as a post archive page.
Go to Settings -> Reading & set the posts page to your newly created blog page
Customizing the Breakdance Blog Archives Template
If you don't like the default organization of the page, open the Breakdance -> Post Archive Template. Here you'll see the Postslist block which you can customize to your choosing. You can edit visual or design options like Image, Title, Meta, Taxonomy, Content, Button, Query, and Pagination Settings.
Edit Types of Posts on Blog Archives Template
If you only want a specific category or tag of posts to appear on your blog archive page (or any page with a posts list), change the Query setting from text to custom. The default text setting is
which will display any post you have created in Gutenberg. When customizing the query, you can change the amount of posts, filter by specific categories, and edit the sorting options.
Setting up a Blog Posts Page in Breakdance

Using the Default Breakdance Posts Page
The default post page will be enabled and activated when you first create your site. All you need to do is write your content and publish it. Navigate to any published post and you should see a page that looks similar to this:
Customizing the Breakdance Posts Page Template
To customize your individual post template, go into Breakdance -> Templates. Add a 'Single Post' template and assign it a priority (in this case we used 20). Open the template to edit it. Here you can add a section then insert dynamic elements to the page to customize what content you want showing.
We've added a div, post content, and an adjacent posts widget to the main page. Inside the div we placed a title widget and post meta box, only displaying the post date. You could customize the whole page to your liking, adding or removing elements as you see fit.
And that's it! A blog page is must needed for any company website who is trying to grow their online footprint. Creating one in Breakdance is easy and can be done with just a few clicks. If you want more control over the design of your blog, you can always create a custom post page template. Your site content will get you ranked on Google and help improve your online presence.
