There’s nothing scarier than getting falsely accused of cheating as a student. We’ve overcome plagiarism detectors, and we’re now going through a different type of false positives. AI has become so rooted into our daily lives that teachers are actively using detectors against it, even if they’re already proven to be mostly unreliable.
So, we must find a way to adjust to this new normal. One way of doing so is by making sure everything you submit is well-documented. There are many ways of gathering evidence against false positive cases, including Google Docs’ writing history feature.
If you didn’t type your assignment into Google Doc originally, don’t worry. With Undetectable AI’s Human Auto Typer, you can create one simply by pasting it into their extension. They also just released their newest version, so let’s talk about everything that’s new with this tool.
What is Undetectable AI’s Auto Typer?
Human Auto Typer V2.0 is part of Undetectable AI’s suite of tools against false positive AI detection. It takes a piece of text as input, and retypes them into a Google Doc, so that you can use its history as evidence if you’re getting falsely accused of using AI like ChatGPT or Gemini.

We’ve already reviewed the previous iteration of this Chrome extension, so make sure to check that out.
Why Should You Get It?
There are two main reasons why I highly encourage people to use this extension:
- Protection. You don’t have to worry about anyone falsely accusing you of using AI. With this extension, you can simply show them your Google Doc’s writing history as evidence.
- Automation. Once you finish your document, you can easily automate the writing process to this extension. This gives you more time to do other things without worrying about retyping the document just to show that you actually made it.
That said, I completely understand why and how this tool can be used for academic dishonesty. I highly discourage you from doing so, and so does Undetectable AI. Always practice responsible AI use.
How To Use Undetectable AI’s Auto Typer?
Here’s everything you need to keep in mind when using this extension, starting from where to get it to how to start simulating human typing:
Step #1: Download The Extension
You can either go to their official website or search for “Undetectable AI - Human Auto Typer” in the Chrome Web Store. You can also directly download the extension from this link.

Once you’re there, simply click the “Add to Chrome” button and then wait for the download to finish. The downloaded file should then redirect you to an Undetectable AI login page, where you need to sign into your account so that it could be linked to the extension.
Step #2: Go To A Google Document
Now that you have Undetectable AI installed into your Chrome, all you need to do is go to any Google Document. The Human Auto Typer should appear automatically on the bottom right side of your screen. If not, go to your extensions bar in Chrome and press the Undetectable AI logo.
From there, you just need to paste the text you want it to write, then you can proceed to the next step.

Note: It shouldn’t look like this, but there seems to be a minor bug where the font changes to Times New Roman. However, this doesn’t affect the typing at all.
Step #3: Adjust The Typing Settings
Select the dropdown above the input field. This lets you select your optimal typing speed from slow to fast. However, I suggest pressing the “Advanced Typing Settings” button instead to have better control over its functionalities.

Once you’ve opened the advanced settings, you should see these following options:

These are settings that allow you to simulate human typing. After all, it’s not always so linear when we type. We make mistakes, take breaks, and occasionally think about what we’re writing. Here’s what each option does:
- Word Per Minute. As the name suggests, it controls how many words the human typer is expected to write per minute.
- Mistake Rate. The percentage of errors when writing. This could be set from 0% to 100%.
- Correction Speed. How fast the extension is at correcting errors. This is also using percentile and dependent on your WPM. So, if your WPM is 90 and correction speed is set to 60, then expect that the mistakes will be corrected at the speed of 54 WPM.
- Break Time. The length of your breaks.
- Break Every. How often your breaks are.
Step #4: Press Start
Once you’re satisfied with the writing settings, all you need to do is press the “Start” button. Here’s how it should look like (Take note, I’m not typing anything at this point)

How Much Does It Cost?
Undetectable AI’s Human Typing Extension is completely free to anyone who’s already subscribed to their services, no matter what plan. However, if you just need the extension and not everything else, you can get it for $5 per month.
All Said and Done
Is it better than its earlier version? Absolutely.
But truth be told, there isn’t a mountain of improvements here. Beyond cosmetics and bugfixes, Undetectable AI’s Human Auto Typer is almost the same as its previous version, which isn’t a bad thing. After all, I’ve always found it to be effective at what it does.
That said, I’d love to see new features in a future version of this tool. Among other things, I’d love for this tool to consider formatting preferences when it comes to specific parts of the text or making it available to other browsers.
So, if I were to summarize this review in a sentence, it’d be “it’s good, but it could’ve been great.” But with Undetectable AI’s track record, I’m sure they’ll find a way to make this product better in the future, so I’m looking forward to that.
