Google has recently introduced their Local Guides to use Bard as their “creative and helpful collaborator” in efforts to accelerate ideas, boost productivity, and fuel their curiosity.

Reportedly, the Local Guides Team from Google has been sending out invitations to encourage their Local Guides to use Bard and bring their ideas to life from a simple text prompt.

The AI-powered chatbot functions as a collaborator that simulates human-like conversations. It has the ability to answer questions, generate contents, summarize and translate texts, and more.

According to Google, Local Guides is a global community of users dubbed as ‘explorers’ who answer questions, write reviews, share photos, and add or edit places on Google Maps.

To become a part of Google’s explorers, users can sign up with their Google accounts and select their current location.

In a previous release, the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, introduced Bard and opened its conversational AI services to users as an experiment – aiming to simplify learning and understanding from their very own generative-AI tool.

“Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence and creativity of our large language models,” Sundar said.

“It draws on information from the web to provide fresh, high-quality responses,” he added.

Now, Bard is available in over 40 new languages and has expanded its reach to Europe and South America. This allows Local Guides across the globe to access all its features and cutting-edge AI services.

It is nice to see Google reaching out to their users and encouraging them to use Bard to possibly ease their workflows or tasks ahead. We have yet to see Bard’s enhancements and improvements that would make it
