Perplexity has recently announced their acquisition of Spellwise into their company.
The AI search platform has successfully absorbed an AI-powered iOS keyboard application that also functions as an all-in-one writing assistant.
Consequently, Spellwise helps users create content, fix grammar, summarize text, translate unfamiliar words, and even turn them into an email, essay, or poem.
In a recent tweet, Perplexity officially revealed that Sergey Fayer, the founder of Spellwise, will join the team as the Head of Mobile Product.
According to Perplexity, they are aiming to provide better user experience with their improved chatbot and search engine powered by generative AI.
In addition, the acquisition of Spellwise will help them build great mobile products and potentially boost their services with more enhanced features.
In a previous report, Perplexity is finally available to download on iPhone devices and allows users to navigate and search with ease in the palm of their hands.
Focusing on Perplexity’s continuous development, a twitter user expressed how he considers Perplexity as one of the top AI sites there is.
Perplexity responded saying that they cant and would not stop improving any time soon.
Definitely, the acquisition of Spellwise is a huge asset and a good addition to Perplexity AI. It will make their AI tools more powerful and it may possibly create a new product that will boost Perplexity’s search experience and performance overall.
