Webflow has recently introduced new enhancements into their ‘Apps’ in the Webflow Designer and launched a new set of applications into their Webflow Marketplace – to deliver more power and flexibility to web developers.

In a recent tweet, they officially launched the Designer Extensions.

Now, the in-browser web designer tool allows users to easily use applications directly inside the canvas to create a hassle-free experience in building their own websites.

According to Webflow, the new enhancements to their platform includes:

  • ‘Apps’ in the Webflow Designer - users can now easily view and launch Apps right inside the Designer.
  • Seamless integrations with tools - Apps now connect with more features, namely the assets manager, forms, and custom code – allowing users to use tools in their stack, marketing automations, and analytics platforms.
  • Transparent authorization and permissions - allow users to view and accept more granular permissions when installing an App to a site.

Furthermore, Webflow also launched a new set of applications that users can use and access directly from the Designer, including:

  • Jasper - bring AI-driven content into users Webflow site.
  • HubSpot - add HubSpot chatbots and embed HubSpot forms.
  • Typeform - embed multi-step forms without developer resources.
  • Memberstack - add secure and encrypted user authentication and payments to your site.
  • Monto - utilize a suite of ecommerce applications to boost sales.
  • Finsweet Table - build semantic HTML elements and automatically generate a table of contents.
  • Make - send information between Webflow and thousands of other apps.

From another tweet, they rolled out a photo preview of the new integrated apps that can easily be launched inside their platform.

Users can now access their favorite apps inside the Webflow Designer and directly interact with the site’s canvas by adding and editing site elements.

Focusing on the integration of an AI application, it was reported that Webflow has partnered with Jasper AI to allow businesses to “generate high-quality marketing and advertising drafts at scale” which can now be done within Webflow’s platform.

Webflow’s latest enhancements definitely made it easier and convenient for web developers to navigate the platform and utilize the new applications and tools to improve overall user experience.

It dramatically expands the potential of what developers can create as it enables them to design and build powerful websites with more tools and applications– no coding needed.
