How to Correct Your Grammar While Writing Using Undetectable AI

In the world of unreliable AI detection, Undetectable AI rose as an unlikely hero that protects you from getting falsely accused of using LLMs. But, to fulfill its promises, it has a dark but open secret:
It intentionally writes grammatically wrong outputs to avoid AI detection.
There’s nothing we could do about that but correct its grammar after giving us the output. Here’s everything you should know to do that.
What is Undetectable AI?
Undetectable AI is a platform with two purposes. First, it can analyze text and determine the likelihood of it being AI-written using an aggregate score from eight different detectors. But its main feature is the "AI Humanizer" tool that rewrites AI-generated content to appear more human-written and avoid detection by other AI tools.

Why Do We Need to Correct Grammar While Using Undetectable AI?
There are many ways of avoiding AI detection but Undetectable AI’s technique can be summarized into two. The first is by rewording the entire text and removing certain telltale signs that a piece of writing came from an AI. This involves changing sentence structure, adding synonyms for common AI words, or using different idiomatic expressions.
The second and more controversial way is by adding human-like errors. To show you what I mean, here’s a pair of essays: one came from ChatGPT and the other is its equivalent using Undetectable AI.

Read it carefully. By now, you should’ve already spotted the mistakes.
Apart from using synonyms that sometimes don't fit the context, Undetectable AI intentionally misplaces or removes punctuations just to avoid AI detection. What’s worse is that the output isn’t well-written either, it sounds monotonous on some parts and ends abruptly on others.
We should fix this. But how, you ask?
How to Properly Correct Undetectable AI’s Grammar
Correcting Undetectable AI’s output should not be done hastily, but carefully and intently. Here’s what I mean by that:
If you’re using Undetectable AI, you’re likely doing so because you’re afraid of AI detection. The first instinct is to correct its grammar using platforms like QuillBot or Grammarly — but that could be a wrong move. Always remember that those are still heavily diluted LLMs. In fact, there have been cases where a student got hit with a false positive after using Grammarly.
So, let’s skip that. Instead, I highly encourage you to correct Undetectable AI’s grammar by yourself. Here are some of the things you need to keep in mind while doing so:
- Add some rhythm. Most of what LLM writes is monotonous. You can easily avoid AI detection by varying your sentence structure and paragraph lengths.
- Remove certain AI markers. This includes repetition and common AI words.
- Ensure there are no AI hallucinations. If you actually used an LLM to write an essay, you need to go back to ensure it didn’t provide any wrong or outdated information.
- Add anecdotes, figures of speech, and cultural references. Idioms, cultural references, and humor demonstrate human intelligence and context. Be creative, evoke emotion, and make it personal.
- Find sources. Providing citations is a quick way of providing evidence that you actually wrote your work.
Most of all, I encourage you to use what LLMs give you as a blueprint and not your final output. The best way of avoiding false positives is to actually write portions of your text and give input so that, in a way, it’s still your work. Always remember that AI systems are there to supplement and not to replace.
