Humbot Review: Is This The Best AI Bypasser?
In a world full of AI bypassers, only some have outputs that bypass AI detection while maintaining the input’s readability. Is Humbot one of them?

There’s another pandemic that’s ravaging the world today — and no, it’s not a new COVID variant. It’s false positive AI detection.
Innocent students all over the world are suffering from this, and there used to be nothing that they can do about it. Not until AI bypassers came along. Now, they’re everywhere.
Enter Humbot — one of the newest kids on the block and it looks to be promising. But is it really as good as it claims?
In this article, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about Humbot including its features, output quality, AI likelihood scores, and what exactly sets it apart (for better or worse) from other AI bypassing tools.
What is Humbot?
Trust me — I’ve had my fair share of false positives over the last few years, and it hasn’t been pretty. One thing I’ve implemented into my writing arsenal that helped a lot are AI bypassers. Humbot is one of them.
Humbot works similarly to paraphrasing tools like QuillBot or Grammarly, but with a twist. Instead of prioritizing sentence restructuring for readability, Humbot focuses on paraphrasing your input so that it could get low AI likelihood scores from detectors. Their process includes removing common AI words and other telltale signs like repetition and overreliance on transition words.

Humbot’s Features
Unlike other paraphrasing tools that are jam-packed with features such as QuillBot, Humbot only has one defining feature: its AI humanizer. This takes an input, “humanizes” it, and turns it into something that’s near invisible from AI detectors.

We’ll talk about this in a bit, but in the meantime, Humbot also has an AI detector feature. However, it’s not really their AI detector per se, but a collection of the following AI detectors:
- GPTZero.
- CopyLeaks.
- ZeroGPT.
- CrossPlag.
- Sapling.
- Writer.
- Content At Scale

Humbot also has an “Undetectable AI” button at their navigation bar, but if I’m being honest, I don’t exactly understand its difference from the AI humanizer feature. When I tried to input the same essay that I tested on the AI humanizer, this feature just gave me almost the same exact output. I believe this was just an oversight (or maybe an SEO booster) from Humbot.

Humbot Review: Output Quality
Most AI bypassers add intentional mistakes to hide their output from AI, so let’s see if Humbot does the same.

Scents are time machines, instantly transporting us to moments long past. A whiff of cinnamon might conjure childhood holidays, while the smell of old books can resurrect forgotten school days. This olfactory nostalgia bypasses conscious thought, tapping directly into our emotional core.
| They say that scents are time machines, whisking us back to long ago moments. Cinnamon will take you back to Christmas as a child, and the smell of dog-eared pages can give memories from long ago school days. This sense of olfactory nostalgia works without telling us we should remember, it goes straight to the emotional core and skips conscious thought.

Let's dive into a quick comparison of these two essays, focusing solely on grammar, spelling, and readability. No frills, just the facts.
The original essay shines in all three areas. It's grammatically sound, with no spelling errors in sight. The writing flows smoothly, making it a breeze to read. Short, punchy sentences mix well with longer ones, creating a nice rhythm. The author's word choice is spot-on, using terms like "olfactory" and "ephemeral" effectively.
Humbot’s, on the other hand, has a few hiccups. There are spelling mistakes ("previojsly" instead of "previously") and some grammatical issues. Sentence structure is sometimes awkward, making it harder to follow. The ideas are there, but the execution isn't as polished as the original. It's still readable, but it requires more effort from the reader.
One big thing that I’ve noticed that Humbot does (you will see it once you read its other examples in later sections) is that it adds proper nouns even when it doesn’t make sense and even when it’s not present in the original text. This is a huge no-no when it comes to paraphrasing and it comes off as AI hallucination.

Is Humbot Better Than Undetectable AI?
We can’t talk about AI bypassers without talking Undetectable AI. This is one of the earliest AI bypassers in the market and somehow still continues to be one of the most effective. Since Humbot is relatively new to the ballgame, let’s see how these two compare against each other in terms of quality and accuracy.

While racial tensions dominate headlines, an insidious divide festers beneath the surface: class. This economic chasm slices through racial lines, pitting the haves against the have-nots with brutal efficiency. Education, healthcare, housing, and justice—all are commodities in this system, available to the highest bidder.

Thoughf racial tensions may be the household discussion, a more devious separation boils over: class. This economic divide cuts right along racial lines, leaving the haves to fend for themselves against of those who have not with extraordinary precision. A commodity system in which education, healthcare, housing and justice are all up for sale to the highest bidder.
| In todays news discussions, about tensions take the spotlight. Lurking beneath the surface is another important issue; class division. This economic gap cuts across boundaries setting those with wealth against those without in an efficient manner. Education, healthcare, housing and justice are all treated as commodities in this system available to those who can afford them.

Let me start this off by saying that I think Humbot and Undetectable AI are on par in terms of readability — which isn’t saying much considering they both rely on adding mistakes to avoid detection. The biggest difference being that the former also adds spelling errors, which is just an unneeded layer in my opinion. All it does is bring down the readability of the entire essay just to knock off a few AI likelihood points.
Now, here’s my biggest pet peeve with Humbot. As I mentioned earlier, it tends to add proper nouns to appear more human. Read the entire text above. Is there any good reason to add “Michelle Obama” to the essay in a topic she bears little to no relevance?
This practice isn’t only questionable, but downright irresponsible in my opinion. Not to mention that it can be (and should be) mistaken for AI hallucination by actual human readers.
But that’s just the tip of the spear. Here’s a bigger reason why I’d recommend Humbot over Undetectable AI:
Original Essay |
The beluga whale, with its ghostly white form and haunting song, faces an existential threat in our warming, polluted oceans. These Arctic sentinels are canaries in the coal mine of climate change, their declining populations a stark warning of ecosystem collapse.

A beluga whale, like an underwater ghost with its white color and eerie voiceover song is in existential crisis as our oceans warm and die everywhere people live. The plight of these Arctic sentinels, their dwindling ranks and sorry fates, are the canaries in our climate change coalmine; we ignore them at great peril to ourselves.
| The beluga whale, known for its striking appearance and mesmerizing song is, in danger due to the impact of climate change and pollution on our oceans. These majestic creatures from the Arctic serve as indicators of the effects of our changing climate with their diminishing numbers serving as a reminder of potential ecosystem collapse.

When I first skimmed Humbot’s version of this essay, I didn’t see anything amiss — not until I re-read paragraph #3.
Did you catch it?
Yep, that’s right — Humbot, for some reason, also adds profanities to your essay. Granted, I only got this issue once with their service, but it’s still a roll of a die. What happens when you absent-mindedly submit Humbot’s essay and a professor reads this? Nothing good, I imagine.

The Bottom Line
While I do think that Humbot is better than most bypassers (even Undetectable AI) at avoiding detection, I would never — in a million years — recommend Humbot. My reasoning is very simple:
I believe that Humbot is harmful to the writing community.
Since paraphrasing tools have been around, one of their biggest selling points is that they can create publish-ready outputs. Imagine if you’re absentmindedly using Humbot and you accidentally use their essay as-is without double-checking, then it somehow outputs an almost fictional recounting of your input or adds a profanity to avoid detection.
I shudder even just thinking about it.
Other bypassers such as Undetectable AI and Netus are much better options in my opinion. If you’re looking for more information about them, here’s a quick comparison article. Good luck!
