The 5 Best Undetectable.AI Alternatives in 2026

Undetectable.ai is an incredible tool for rewriting ChatGPT and making it human-readable & able to bypass a majority of AI writing detectors. If you're looking for a replacement, or just another tool to supplement your writing, here's a list of the best alternatives you should test out.

Reading Time: 7 minutes

We’ve finally reached the point where AI-generated writing is normal, but the output still often needs cleanup before I’d publish or submit it. I've been using Undetectable AI since it first came out years ago & still think it’s one of the better tools for turning stiff AI text into something more natural.

Humanize AI Writing Before You Publish

Use Undetectable AI to rewrite AI-generated text so it reads more naturally and is less likely to be flagged.

If you don't want to publish AI-generated content right out of the box, you can throw it into a tool like Undetectable and get a rewritten result that may read less predictably to AI detectors. That does not mean any humanizer can guarantee a pass. Detectors are inconsistent, false positives happen, and the final edit still matters.

It‘s super easy to use when you need to rewrite something quickly but don’t have the time. If you want to read exactly how it works, I also wrote up a complete Undetectable AI review with a lot more depth.

As great as this tool is, there are a few alternatives that aim to do the same thing but vary your sentences a little differently. I’d compare them by output quality first, then detector signal, then pricing and word limits.

Quick Comparison: Best Undetectable AI Alternatives

AlternativeBest forMain tradeoff
HideMyAIClosest Undetectable-style workflowCredit/word limits matter if you rewrite a lot
Netus.AILots of bypass presetsMessier interface and less obvious mode differences
QuillBotGeneral paraphrasing and editingNot built only for AI detection bypassing
Paraphraser.ioBudget rewritingOutput and detector consistency vary
WriteHumanNatural-sounding humanized outputFewer customization controls than Undetectable

1) HideMyAI

HideMyAI is an AI paraphrasing tool that has extremely similar features to Undetectable. You can also use dropdown menus to select from seven different types of rewriting styles, eight educational levels, and four perspectives.

HideMyAI also gives you a “detection likelihood” from popular AI detectors such as Originality, TurnItIn, and Content at Scale. It's insane. I also find it to not mess with my grammar & sentence syntax as much as Undetectable – but it really varies.

You can use HideMyAI for free provided you sign up for an account, and free credits will be added for you to use. Its Pro plan is still built around monthly word credits, with 10,000 words per month on the entry Pro tier, and it also offers pay-as-you-go credits if you need more. I'd still recommend trying the free version first because the best humanizer depends heavily on your writing style.

If any of your transformed writing gets detected as AI-detected content, you can get credits back for those generations.

HideMyAI Pros and Cons

PROS

CONS

  • Free trial

  • Very easy to use

  • Affordable

  • Saves output automatically

  • Batch files upload

  • Supports 4 languages (English, French, Russian, and Spanish)

  • Runs on WordPress

  • No free version

  • No extra features

  • Credit Back Gurantee

  • Slightly likelier to get detected as AI-generated than Undetectable AI

2) Netus.AI

I used to work with Netus a bit but it seems to be poorly made. It has like 50 different bypassing tools to rewrite, without so much as a description on what makes certain features different. Here’s all they say:

  • V1 and V2: Highest level of stealth.
  • V1 to V29: Works best for TurnItIn and ZeroGPT.
  • V30 to V50: Best for all detectors.

What makes, for example, V31 different from V47? I don’t know.

The point is that I think it's very unorganized, but it's pretty affordable and still gets the job done like Undetectable & HideMyAI.

Now regarding accuracy — that's up in the air. It won’t be as good as Undetectable AI when it comes to hiding from AI detection. As for readability, here’s an output you can read to make your own judgment. Personally? I just find it kind of weird...

NetusAI Pros and Cons

PROS

CONS

  • Cheaper than other AI humanizers.

  • Bang for your buck.

  • Really confusing to use.

  • Outputs are extra unreadable.

  • Not as good as Undetectable AI and HideMyAI from avoiding AI detection.

3) Quillbot Paraphraser

Quillbot has been a very popular AI writing tool since its release in 2017. With its additional features including a grammar checker, summarizer, translator, AI detector, AI humanizer, and plagiarism checker, this tool is ideal for educators, essayists, and other writing professionals. I’m removing the old user-count line here because those numbers go stale fast and QuillBot now markets a much broader writing suite than just paraphrasing.

QuillBot’s paraphrasing tool still has a free version, but the free tier is limited to 125 words at a time and two paraphrasing modes. Premium currently starts at $19.95 per month and unlocks unlimited inputs, 10+ paraphrasing styles, and more of the broader writing suite.

But the thing with QuillBot is that it can’t really bypass AI detection consistently without using other tools. Here’s an example of what I’m talking about:

Quillbot Pros and Cons

PROS

CONS

  • Free Paraphraser (no sign-up required)

  • Very easy to use

  • Colored text output (Depending on variations)

  • Paraphrases 23 different languages

  • Produces high-quality results

  • Chrome extension

  • MS Word Extension

  • Free Paraphraser has low word limit

  • Free Paraphraser has only 2 writing tones

  • No API Access

  • No mobile app

  • Doesn’t consistently create undetectable AI content by itself.

4) Paraphraser.io

Paraphraser.io is an AI writing tool founded in January of 2020. This freemium paraphrasing platform also has an article rewriting tool, grammar checker, text summarizer, and plagiarism checker. The paraphrasing tool has 6 writing modes, while the rewriter has 2 rewriting modes. Paraphraser.io also has a WordPress plugin.

With Paraphraser.io, you can rewrite across multiple languages and use related tools like grammar checking, summarizing, plagiarism checking, and AI humanizing. Its pricing has changed since this article was first written: the current Silver plan is listed at $4.55 weekly with a 1,500-word paraphrase limit, while the Gold monthly plan is listed at $9.55 with a 2,000-word paraphrase limit.

As you can see, the results from the rewriter tool had a 99% Human Probability score each.

The only problem I have with Paraphraser is that, unfortunately, I don’t think it’s that good. It’s writing as good as QuillBot and it’s not bypassing AI detectors as consistently as Undetectable AI.

Paraphraser's Pros and Cons

PROS

CONS

  • Intuitive user interface

  • Free version (no daily limit)

  • Very affordable (1500 words for $7/month)

  • 6-mode selection

  • Highlights changed texts

  • Supports 22 languages

  • Downloadable results

  • Mobile app (iOS and Android)

  • Email and Chat support

  • Free version overloaded with ads

  • No AI detection tool

  • WordPress plugin is not free

  • Paid API Access

  • No rewritten/paraphrased text history

  • No money-back guarantee

  • Lower quality of writing than Quillbot and more detectable than Undetectable AI

5) WriteHuman

WriteHuman is one of the biggest surprises in AI writing in my opinion. For years, I’ve used Undetectable AI to turn AI-generated writing into something more human since, well, it’s the only one good enough.

I never really expected WriteHuman to be close to that level, but it is

In terms of both output quality and accuracy, it’s near Undetectable AI’s level already despite being released years later. I still think that the older tool is better, but it’s definitely got some competition now.

WriteHuman now also sells itself as a broader humanizer plus AI detector. Its current monthly plans list Basic at $18/month, Pro at $27/month, and Ultra at $48/month, with lower annual-equivalent pricing if you pay yearly. Higher tiers add more requests, more output variations, and larger per-request word limits.

WriteHuman Pros and Cons

PROS

CONS

  • Intuitive user interface

  • Free trial with credits

  • Great at hiding from AI detection

  • Readable outputs

  • No output customization features.

  • AI detection likelihood is still greater than Undetectable AI.

For newer head-to-head tests, compare Undetectable AI against RewritePal, Humanizer.pro, and Humaniser. If you’re trying to understand the detector side first, start with our guides on checking for AI content and how AI writing detection works.

If Grammarly is also on your shortlist, we tested Undetectable AI against Grammarly's AI Humanizer and a ChatGPT-specific Grammarly humanizer comparison.

Which Alternative Should You Use?

After conducting thorough tests, HideMyAI & WriteHuman are still my personal favorite alternatives to Undetectable AI. HideMyAI is the closest in workflow, while WriteHuman often gives me natural-sounding rewrites with fewer controls.

QuillBot makes more sense if you want an everyday writing assistant, not just an AI humanizer. Paraphraser.io is more of a budget option. Netus.AI is worth testing if you like having a lot of bypass presets, but I still find the interface less clear than the others.

At the end of the day, picking an Undetectable AI alternative boils down to your specific needs. You should honestly just try them all if they offer a free version, then compare the output against your own writing style and the detectors you actually care about.

Remember, even the most sophisticated AI paraphrasing tool can't guarantee to fool all detection mechanisms all the time. Treat these tools as rewrite helpers, not proof machines. If you've used any of these & have comments, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
