Have you ever wanted to scrape Zillow?
This is a simple, step-by-step guide on how to scrape hundreds of properties, as well as real estate agents and their contact information.
In just a few minutes, you'll be able to visualize the data you're working with whether you want to send emails, cold call, or just build a database of content
Step 1) Download Instant Data Scraper
You’re going to have to download the Instant Data Scraper Chrome Extension to get started.
Once you download the Chrome Extension, pin it to your Chrome profile:
Step 2) Scrape With Zillow
Scrape Zillow Properties
Now you’re going to scrape the data from a specific search page.
Once you’re on the Zillow page, you’re going to click the Instant Data Chrome Tool.
Once you click, you’re going to see the tool pull up data from the page.
This is the data and what the tool should look like. It scrapes the individual Zapier profile, the address, the name of the brokerage, and other relevant information.
If for any reason it’s not picking up the data you’d like to see, click on "Try another table" and it should pick up different data. Keep trying until you get the data you’re looking for:
Scrape Zillow Real Estate Agents
You’re going to navigate to the Agent finder and this is where you can scrape the profiles.
You’re going to click the Instant Data Chrome Extension and again it’s going to scrape the data.
Now you have the data!
Step 3) Map Through The Data
Once you have the correct data in the table, you now have to map through the pages. Click “Locate Next Button”.
Once you click the button, you’re going to click on the second page, or whatever button is able to map through the pages.
Once you click, change the delay to “minimum 10 seconds” and click “Start Crawling”.
Once you’ve collected a few rows of data, you can now download the data as a CSV or copy the data.
Step 4: Paste Into Your Spreadsheet
And now you can upload the CSV to an application like Google Sheets.
Now you’re ready to go! You have now scraped both Zillow properties and real estate agents!
Hope this is helpful!
