LLMs like ChatGPT and Claude are disruptive enough as it is, but one thing that the developers behind these tools didn’t anticipate is the impact it has on education and in the workplace.

The rampant use of AI has led to crackdowns on its use. The only issue is that, well, there’s really no reliable way of telling whether or not a piece of text came from AI — and even OpenAI agrees. This has led to multiple cases of false positive AI detection which, unfortunately, have turned the life of some students upside down.

And so, many people have turned to AI bypassing tools even when they didn’t use AI.

One such tool is Undetectable AI. So, let’s put it to test by subjecting it to one of the most popular free AI detection tools today: ZeroGPT. Who will prevail?

What is Undetectable AI?

If you’re ever worried about false positive AI detection, then Undetectable AI should be your go-to option for an AI paraphrasing tool. This AI bypasser and humanizer takes a piece of text as an input and then turns it into something that reads more human by removing telltale signs of AI and adding intentional mistakes.

Undetectable AI also has output customization features for readability level and use case that you can play with to get the optimal tone you’re looking for.

You can read more about Undetectable AI in our complete review. We’ve also done a deep dive into some of their other features like Stealth Writer and Human Typer, so make sure to check them out.

What is ZeroGPT?

ZeroGPT is the complete opposite of Undetectable AI. It’s a specialized tool designed to detect text generated by artificial intelligence language models such as ChatGPT or Claude. It can differentiate between content written by humans and that produced by AI.

While ZeroGPT can be a useful resource in identifying AI-generated text, it's important to note that its accuracy is not perfect. The tool's effectiveness can vary depending on factors such as the specific AI model used to generate the text and the evolving nature of language models. In fact, in our latest testing, we found it to be one of the least consistent detectors.

And there’s also the fact that, as AI technology continues to advance, detection tools like ZeroGPT may require regular updates to maintain their accuracy.

The Bottom Line

I know the results are too good to be true, but it absolutely is.

A 0% final AI likelihood average, even when using Undetectable AI, isn’t something that should be possible. I could attribute this outcome to two things:

Number one is that Undetectable AI really is that good. After all, I’ve tested it against other AI bypassers, paraphrasers, and even detectors. More often than not, it won. But it’s also important to note that it’s not perfect, because most of the time, it’s riddled with grammar errors (something that you can easily fix if you follow this article of ours).

The second reason is that ZeroGPT, quite simply, should never be your AI detector. It’s too lenient to be accurate. Apart from that, it also has one of the worst interfaces I’ve seen for an AI detector. I mean, come on, just compare it to GPTZero and the difference is night and day.

So, yep: it’s another Undetectable AI win. When will a detector ever beat this tool? Only time will tell.

Hi, I'm Angelo. I'm currently an undergraduate student studying Software Engineering. Now, you might be wondering, what is a computer science student doing writing for Gold Penguin? I took up studying computer science because it was practical and because I was good at it. But, if I had the chance, I'd be writing for a career. Building worlds and adjectivizing nouns for no other reason other than they sound good. And that's why I'm here.
