Onyx IQ Alternatives for MCA Funders and ISOs

Two kinds of people search for Onyx IQ alternatives. The first is an MCA funder comparing loan management systems before signing. The second is an ISO or broker who submits deals into a funder's Onyx IQ portal and wonders whether Onyx can run their own shop. It can't, really: Onyx is built for funders, and ISOs are users of the funder's portal, not customers.

So this guide covers both. Ferrylend, our pick for ISOs, comes first. Funders then get five servicing platforms, grouped by why you'd pick them over Onyx, and ISOs get one more broker CRM at the end. All facts are from each vendor's own site, read October 24, 2026.

Our top pick is Ferrylend, for the ISOs and broker shops Onyx doesn't serve: it does the lender matching, multi-funder submissions, offers and commissions an ISO runs on, at a published per-user price. If you fund deals and need ACH servicing or syndication, it isn't a substitute for Onyx, and the funder platforms below are where to look.

Here's the TLDR (prices checked October 24, 2026):

  1. Ferrylend (our pick, for ISOs) - Best for: broker shops that want lender matching, submissions and commissions at a published per-user price. $69 or $99/user/month. It's broker-side: no ACH servicing or syndication, so funders should pick from 2 to 6.
  2. Cloudsquare Lend - Best for: funders lending beyond MCA (equipment, business loans, HELOC) who are on Salesforce. Quote only.
  3. LendingWise - Best for: lenders who want a published price and a trial, and who also do real estate or SBA. From $119/month; servicing on the $1,595/month Elite plan.
  4. Centrex - Best for: funders who want a white-label merchant app and portals, with a loan module alongside MCA. Quote only.
  5. LendSaaS - Best for: MCA funders who want detailed state disclosure tooling and processor choice. Quote only.
  6. MCA Track - Best for: small to mid-size MCA funders who want ACH and the CRM from one company. Quote only.
  7. Specter Systems (ISOs) - Best for: broker shops that want an AI assistant inside the CRM and direct submissions to a handful of funders. Price on request.

1. Ferrylend (our pick for ISOs)

An ISO's job is the opposite of a funder's: one deal, many possible funders. That takes lender matching, multi-funder submissions, offer tracking and commissions, which Onyx doesn't offer because it isn't built for ISOs. That's the job Ferrylend is built for.

Ferrylend is a newer broker CRM for MCA and business-funding shops. MCA has the deepest tooling, but loans, lines of credit, SBA, equipment and factoring run in the same pipeline. Lender matching checks every deal against each lender's rules and gives a reason for every pass or fail. Submissions go by email or portal-assist, with each page stamped and a proof-of-submission PDF. Offers compare side by side with your commission, and lender commission statements are matched to funded deals.

Pricing: its per-user plans are $69 (Core) and $99 (Pro) a month, with no seat minimum. The $999 setup fee is waived for workspaces created through December 31, 2026. No free trial; you can click through sample deals after entering a work email, or book a 30-minute call.

Limits: no lender API submissions, no dialer or SMS (both listed as coming soon), no SOC 2 report, and no independent reviews on G2, Capterra or Trustpilot that we could find as of October 2026. It's newer than everything else on this list, and it has no servicing, ACH or syndication, so it's no substitute for Onyx on the funder side.

If you fund: Ferrylend can handle the origination side (intake, statement figures, offers) and keeps a remittance ledger you fill by hand or from a CSV, with servicing statuses from performing to paid off. It doesn't debit merchants, run an ACH schedule or keep a syndication ledger, and ISOs can't log in to submit deals yet. If you fund and service, pick from Cloudsquare Lend, LendingWise, Centrex, LendSaaS or MCA Track below.

Pick it if: you're an ISO or broker shop that submits mostly by email to your own funder panel and wants a published price without a sales call.

Why funders look past Onyx IQ

Onyx IQ is a strong product on paper, and if you only fund MCA it may be exactly right. The reasons to compare come from its own site:

  • Commercial lending isn't live. Its commercial-lending page leads to a waitlist ("Join the waitlist to get early access"). If you also fund term loans or lines of credit, only the MCA edition is clearly available today.
  • No price, no trial. Every button is "Book a Demo" or "Let's Talk", and the FAQ says demos run 45 minutes to an hour.
  • It isn't your sales CRM. Onyx says that if your team runs ISO relationships in HubSpot or Salesforce, it connects to it. That's flexible, but it also means you may be paying for two systems.
  • Mixed e-sign messaging. The origination page sells its own SignIQ tool with no per-envelope charges, while the FAQ says e-signature runs through a DocuSign integration. Ask which you'd get.

What you'd be giving up is real: AI intake of ISO submission emails, no-code scorecards that auto-decline, a branded ISO offer portal, daily ACH with retry logic and a backup processor, investor wallets, and SOC 2 Type II listed under its controls. Hold every alternative to that list.

If you fund more than MCA

2. Cloudsquare Lend

Cloudsquare Lend runs on Salesforce and ships with workflows for revenue-based financing, equipment financing, business loans, reverse consolidations and HELOC. Its platform page describes a decision engine (Experian credit, CLEAR background checks, DataMerch), contract generation, automated funding disbursements, "balance-aware ACH" that pauses on a return, syndication with clawbacks, and vintage and cohort analytics with an accounting subledger. Customer, ISO and syndicator portals are included.

Watch for: quote-only pricing, a Salesforce license you pay for separately, and a SaaS agreement that auto-renews at list price with no mid-term seat reductions.

Pick it if: your book is mixed, and you have (or want) Salesforce admins.

3. LendingWise

LendingWise is the odd one out here, and that's the point. It's a CRM and loan origination system centred on private and business-purpose real estate, with MCA, SBA, equipment and working capital as pre-built programs. It's also the only funder platform in this list with a published price list: Starter $119/month (1 user), Pro $600/month (5 users), Elite $1,595/month (20 users), each with a 15-day free trial and month-to-month billing.

Loan servicing is on Elite, and its business-funding page says you can set up daily or weekly ACH debits for MCA products and track disbursements against the terms. Elite also adds white label and an open API.

Watch for: it has no MCA-specific statement underwriting, syndication or ISO commission tracking on the pages we read, and it describes its security as "aligned with SOC 2", not certified.

Pick it if: MCA is one line among several, and you want to see a price and try it before talking to sales.

4. Centrex

Centrex sells to MCA funders, syndicates and brokers, plus business-loan, SBA, equipment and factoring companies. Its March 2026 Loan Module added automatic repayment scheduling next to MCA servicing. The white-label pieces go further than Onyx's: a client portal on your own URL, an ISO portal, and an iOS and Android merchant app with Plaid bank linking.

Watch for: no published pricing, per-active-user billing with an agreement minimum, many integrations sold as separate "enhancements", and ACH batches fixed at 2:30 PM CST.

Pick it if: your brand in front of merchants and ISOs matters as much as the back office.

If you fund MCA and want a different approach

5. LendSaaS

LendSaaS covers the same ground as Onyx (ISO portal, an application scanner that parses PDF apps, underwriting, daily ACH and card collections, syndication wallets) with more detail on compliance. Its compliance pages name state disclosure forms for CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, NY, UT and VA, plus UCC filing and a California annual report export. Its API page lists ten ACH processors. It makes no SOC 2 claim on the pages we read. We covered it in full in LendSaaS alternatives.

6. MCA Track

MCA Track is a simpler funder system with ACH from its sister processor GoACH, built into the dashboard. It handles underwriting checklists, advances, renewals, syndicator splits and ISO commissions, with a public user guide and a 145-permission role model. It claims most customers are "up and running within days", against Onyx's two weeks.

The trade-off: where Onyx retries failed debits and fails over to a backup processor, MCA Track's guide says returns don't auto-retry and some can only be cleared by its support team.

If you're an ISO, not a funder

Ferrylend, our pick, is covered at the top. The other broker CRM worth a look is Specter.

7. Specter Systems

Specter Systems is an AI-first broker CRM: bank statement OCR, "SpecterPrint" fraud detection, lender matching and multi-lender submission, SMS and email blasts, and an assistant called Neo that "runs the CRM by chat and voice". Its integrations list includes direct funder submissions to Credibly, Bitty Advance, Spectra Lending and LNDR, and SmartBiz for SBA.

Limits: its pricing page shows Rep, Senior Rep and Brokerage plans with no dollar amounts, says seats "require an Enterprise account", and offers no free trial. Specter also runs a lender-facing submission network, so ask how your submitted deals are used there.

How to choose

Funders: list every product you fund today and plan to fund next year. If it's MCA only, compare Onyx IQ with LendSaaS and MCA Track on collections behaviour. If it's mixed, Cloudsquare Lend, Centrex and LendingWise are the realistic set. Our roundup of MCA software for funders covers them in more depth.

ISOs: count how many of your funders take API submissions. If most do, look at tools with direct funder APIs. If you mostly email, pick on matching, submission tracking and commissions, which is where Ferrylend is the one we'd look at first.

FAQ

How much does Onyx IQ cost?

Onyx IQ doesn't publish pricing or offer a free trial. It says it connects funders with ACH processors and credit bureaus "often at volume pricing below retail", but gives no numbers.

Does Onyx IQ work for commercial loans?

Not yet, based on its site. The commercial-lending edition is behind a waitlist, so the MCA edition is the one that's clearly live.

Is there an Onyx IQ alternative with published pricing?

Among broker CRMs, Ferrylend (our pick for ISOs) publishes per-user prices: $69 and $99 a month. Among funder platforms, LendingWise publishes its plans ($119, $600 and $1,595 a month), though servicing is on the top plan and it isn't MCA-focused.

Can ISOs use Onyx IQ?

Only through a funder's branded portal, where they view approvals, pick offers, upload stips and downsell. It isn't sold to ISOs as their own CRM.

If you're a funder, Onyx IQ belongs on your shortlist even after reading this. Just make sure at least one alternative is on it too.

Disclosure: Ferrylend is made by Digital Mundo, a separate company with the same owner as Gold Penguin. We rank it first, and we've kept its drawbacks in plain view.
