Best Lender Matching and Deal Submission Software for ISOs
Reading Time: 10 minutes
Every ISO knows the cost of a bad submission: a deal sent to a funder that never takes restaurants, or second positions, or New York, comes back declined two days later and the merchant has gone elsewhere. Lender matching software checks a deal against each funder's box before you send it. Submission software then gets the package out, ideally by API, and tracks what came back.
This guide is for ISOs, MCA brokers and business loan brokers comparing tools on those two jobs specifically. Full CRM features are covered in our MCA CRM roundup; here the questions are how each tool matches, how it submits, and whose lenders it uses. Our top pick is Ferrylend, because its matching gives a plain-English reason for every lender that passes or fails; if most of your funders take API submissions, MCA Pilot or Cloudsquare will save more time.
Here's the TLDR (checked October 24, 2026):
- Ferrylend (our pick): Best for transparent rule-based matching with a reason for every lender. Email and portal-assist submission only; lender API connectors are coming soon, not live. $69 to $99/user/month.
- MCA Pilot: Best for API submission volume to your own funders. 20 direct funder APIs. $499/month base.
- Cloudsquare Broker: Best lender API network if you run Salesforce. "30 integrated lenders". From $75/user/month plus Salesforce.
- Heron Data: Best for adding matching and submission to the CRM you already have. Price not published.
- NextLevel MCA: Best scored matching inside GoHighLevel. From $597/month.
- Lendflow for Brokers: Best if you want a lender network's offers rather than your own panel. Price not published.
- Centrex Software: Best for criteria matching inside a broader broker-and-funder suite. Price not published.

Your panel or their network?
The biggest difference between these tools isn't the algorithm. It's whose lenders you're matching against. Most ISO tools match against your own panel: funders you hold agreements with, whose criteria you enter. Network tools such as Lendflow route to their lenders, which can surface offers you couldn't get alone but takes the relationship out of your hands. Fundara puts it plainly for its own product: "You bring your ISO agreements."
The second difference is the channel. An API submission maps fields straight into the funder's system and can bring status back. Email is universal but depends on someone reading the reply. Most shops end up with both.
1. Ferrylend
Ferrylend's rule-based lender matching stores each lender's programs with rules marked hard, soft or informational across 27 metrics (cash flow, existing debt, request, business, owners, plus a recorded "DataMerch hit" field). Every deal lands in one of four outcomes (Eligible, Eligible with warnings, Needs data, Ineligible) with a score, and a matrix shows the reason for every cell. Near misses are flagged, matches re-run when the deal changes, and "Submit anyway" is allowed but audit-logged. Lenders can be uploaded from CSV, and matching is in every plan.
In the sample-data tour on Ferrylend's homepage, the matching tab reads "Checked against 5 lenders: 2 eligible, 1 review, 2 no match", with reasons like "First position only; deal has 1 open" and "Does not fund in New York".
Its submission tools use per-lender email templates with documents attached from the deal, sent three ways: from Ferrylend under the rep's name (replies go to the rep), from your own mail client, or "portal assist" for lender portals. Every page is stamped with shop, lender, date and a reference, and a proof-of-submission PDF records a SHA-256 fingerprint per file. A cross-deal submissions page handles bulk status updates.
Limits: there are no lender API submissions today (Credibly and Lendio APIs are listed as coming soon), DataMerch and FICO are manual fields, and there's no ISO partner portal. Ferrylend is newer, so it has no independent reviews yet. Pick it if most of your funders still take email and you want to see why each one passed or failed. Our Ferrylend review covers the rest of the product.
2. MCA Pilot
MCA Pilot's API page describes 20 direct funder integrations with roughly 50 to 70 fields mapped per submission, confirmation IDs written back, and statuses checked daily or by webhook. Funders without an API get email, a tracked portal task or a custom webhook in the same action, and AI parses replies into offers, declines and stips. The site claims "10,003 API submissions in July 2026".
Matching is AI ranking on 20+ criteria, with the rep deciding: "MCA Pilot can filter and rank the funder list, but your team decides who receives each deal." It also checks for duplicate submissions on the same deal.
Limits: the 20 funders aren't named, so ask for the list before you buy. The $499/month base covers one user. Pick it if a meaningful share of your volume goes to API-connected funders.
3. Cloudsquare Broker
Cloudsquare says "One-click submissions rank programs across 30 integrated lenders", and names OnDeck, Kapitus, CAN Capital, Forward Financing, Credibly, BriteCap, Bitty Advance, Pearl Capital and Idea Financial among them. It claims under a minute per submission versus two hours by hand. A Lender Decision Inbox builds offers from lender emails and auto-declines from decline emails. Its Kapitus V2 release (August 2026) pushes Kapitus statuses, offers, declines and stips back into the CRM.
Limits: one 2026 Cloudsquare article says "15+ Lender API Integrations", so confirm the current list. You also need a Salesforce license on top of $75/user. Pick it if your panel overlaps its named lenders. If Salesforce is the sticking point, see our Cloudsquare alternatives.
4. Heron Data
Heron Data is an automation layer, not a CRM. It reads the ISO app and statements, scores each deal against each lender's credit box and your partner preferences, and submits by API, email or portal, formatted per lender, with the channel set once per lender. Decision intake files approvals, counters and declines against the right deal and syncs them to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Centrex or other listed systems. It shows a SOC 2 Type II badge.
Limits: no published price, and its integrated lender list isn't public. Pick it if you're happy with your CRM and only want the matching and submission work automated.
5. NextLevel MCA
NextLevel MCA gives every lender "A 0 to 100 match score", and "'Why this score?' shows each criterion, the deal's value and the result." Submissions go from your own mailbox with AI reading replies, or through lender APIs it sets up on request ("the lender may need to issue you credentials first"). Its site is clear that matching "doesn't guarantee approval".
Pick it if you want explainable scores and already use GoHighLevel. Plans start at $597/month for up to 2 users.
6. Lendflow for Brokers
Lendflow works the other way: one submission goes to its network of "75+" API-connected lenders, AI matching and rule-based waterfall routing pick the order, and multiple pre-qualified offers come back. It tracks commissions per closed deal and offers a white-labeled borrower application. It covers term loans, receivables, factoring, MCA, equipment, SBA and lines of credit, and shows a SOC 2 Type II badge.
Limits: no published price or fee model for brokers, the lender list isn't public, and routing to funders you hold your own agreements with isn't described. Pick it if you want more offers per deal and will use it alongside your CRM, not instead of it.
7. Centrex Software
Centrex's lender matchmaking scores deals on typically 7 to 10 data points per lender (years in business, revenue, entity type, industry, state, credit score). Lenders with a 100% match are highlighted in green, and lender performance is tracked. Submissions package docs and data to multiple lenders "with one click" by email template. Its Lender Submission API works only when a funder builds against it, and OnDeck is the one named direct lender API, documented for business loans.
Pick it if you want matching inside a suite that also gives your own sub-ISOs a portal to submit through. If you're a funder receiving ISO deals instead, see our guide to MCA software for funders.
Others worth knowing
- Specter Systems: "Intelligent matching & one-click submit" on its Senior Rep tier, with direct submissions to Credibly, Bitty Advance, Spectra Lending, LNDR and SmartBiz. Price by demo.
- Fundara: email shop-out from your own address to every lender you load ("no cap"), with a duplicate-submission guard and per-lender status.
- LendingWise: a marketplace of "60+ lenders & note buyers" with Matched or Not Matched shown per criterion, plus your own private lender panel. Strongest for real estate deals.
- BoeFly: a loan marketplace, heavy on franchise SBA deals, where brokers post packages and grant document access lender by lender.
How to keep your lender criteria accurate
- Separate hard rules from preferences. A funder that never goes past second position is a hard stop; a preferred revenue range isn't. Tools that distinguish the two (Ferrylend's hard and soft rules, Heron's partner preferences) produce fewer false declines.
- Update criteria from declines. Every decline reason is a data point about a funder's real box. Record it on the submission, not in a rep's head.
- Re-check after the deal changes. A new statement month or a newly found position can change the answer.
- Review funder performance quarterly. Approval and funding ratios per funder tell you who to submit to first.
How to choose
List your top 10 funders by volume and mark which take API submissions. Then ask each vendor which of those 10 it integrates with today, not on a roadmap. If the overlap is high, MCA Pilot or Cloudsquare is likely worth its higher price. If it's low, explainable matching and solid email tracking (Ferrylend, NextLevel MCA) matter more. If you're keeping your CRM, Heron adds both. Our MCA CRM pricing comparison shows what each costs at your seat count.
FAQ
What is lender matching software?
Software that compares a deal's figures (revenue, time in business, credit, industry, state, existing positions) against each lender's criteria and shows which lenders are likely to approve, so you submit to the right ones first.
What is an ISO CRM?
A CRM for independent sales organizations that place merchant deals with funders. Beyond leads and pipeline, it tracks funders, submissions, offers, commissions and renewals. Most tools in this guide are ISO CRMs with matching built in; Heron and Lendflow are add-ons.
Which MCA software submits deals by API?
Cloudsquare (30 integrated lenders claimed), MCA Pilot (20), Specter (five named), Heron (lenders not listed), NextLevel MCA (on request) and Lendflow (its own network). Centrex's API depends on the funder building to it. Ferrylend and Fundara submit by email.
Does lender matching guarantee an approval?
No. It only reflects the criteria entered for each lender, and funders change their boxes. NextLevel MCA says so on its own site. Treat a match as a reason to submit, not a promise.
Can I use lender matching with my existing CRM?
Yes, with Heron Data, which syncs to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and Centrex, or Lendflow, which runs alongside a CRM. The other tools here include matching as part of their own CRM.
The best test is simple: take last month's declines and see which tool would have caught them before you hit send.
Disclosure: Ferrylend is made by Digital Mundo, a separate company with the same owner as Gold Penguin. We rank it first, and we've kept its drawbacks in plain view.
